To design, produce, and install exclusive Altai carpets that honor the palace’s ancestral patterns while enhancing its renewed royal interiors.
Custom-woven silk–wool carpets, vegetable-dyed threads, gold detailing, heritage motif reinterpretations, and full on-site installation.
Concept:The concept was to blend historical reverence with living design. Altai recreated traditional Rajput motifs in modern harmony, ensuring every carpet became part of the palace’s visual rhythm.
Vision:Our vision was to revive royal artistry through touch and texture — to let heritage be felt underfoot. The project united artisans across India and Central Asia in a single story of devotion.
Inspirations:The Samraat Mahal project drew inspiration from Mughal floral geometry, sandstone courtyards, and fresco colors. Each carpet carries the same quiet dignity as the palace itself.
Design Philosophy:Altai believes that every thread tells a story. The carpets were woven with patience, symmetry, and sincerity — celebrating India’s royal legacy through timeless craft.
Execution:Each piece was custom-measured and handwoven over months. Altai’s artisans crafted every carpet to mirror the palace’s light, architecture, and mood — uniting the essence of tradition with modern precision.
Altai’s carpets restored not just our interiors, but our history.
Every pattern feels alive — a bridge between what was and what endures.
